21st Haanja100 MTB will start tomorrow
Tomorrow will start the 21st edition of Haanja100 MTB, what takes almost 450 riders on to the best tracks of Haanja region!
Latvian party on the Haanja100 2022 race!
19th Haanja100 became a real Latvian party, cause only two Estonian managed to finish in the first seven of finishers. Dry track and nice weather brought out 320 riders on to the 100km race and 60 extra crazy riders on to the 100 miles race. Martins Blums, finishing 6th a week ago on the World Championships, was dominant in Haanja, finishing ahead of Oskars Muiznieks and last year winner Josten Vaidem.

Defending last year women title Mari Kruuser finished first, time 5:38:35, second and third came in Maris Lillep and Liina Romandi.
Last time 100 miles race winner was also the fastest three years later, finishing the toughest and longest Haanja100 mile race ever with the time 8:47:33. Second and third on the 163km distance were Lauri Malsroos and Arvi Romandi.
In the year 2023 we will celebrate our 20th jubilee!

Üle 2 aasta ei ole me tuuriga Lätti saanud selle kuradi viiruse tõttu, aga täna sai topelt, tegelikult isegi tripelt! Sest rada käis oma 72 kilomeetri ja 1049 tõusumeetriga lausa 3 korda kuuevarbaliste juures ja tuli 3 korda viievarbaliste juurde tagasi!
Aga see selleks, Taavi Kannimäe oli taas kiireim, saades 45 sekundit kiirema aja, kui rajameister pakkus – kuradi põud! Teisena tuli Lauri Malsroos, kolmandana Priit Tuisk. Enne homset Gunderseni on vahed korralikud – esimesest kolmandani ligi 14 minutit!
Meespaaridest esimesed AT Sport Team Neemela/Pohl, üle 10 min lähevad homme teele Team Craft koosseisus Miša Lukertšenko/Madis Kolo, ligi pool tundi hiljem stardivad SAQ SC esindajad Raini Valgma/Heigo Kopso.
Segapaaridest taas ülivõimas sõit RedBike tiimi poolt, kuid napilt siiski Gundersenist väljas Maris Lillep/Markus Vähi, teiselt kohalt stardivad viimasele etapile Pina Colada ratturid Kristi Märtin/Kaarel Sisask, vaid 4 minuti kaugusel teist kohta jahtimas Võromaa Ratturid Kadri Lehtme/Raul Soome.
Naissoolodest jätkab ainsana ja suveräänse liidrina Age Jaanimets!

HaanjaSki100 will take part on March 13th!
The 9th edition of Haanja Ski1oo ultra-skiing event will take part in Haanja on the 13th of March. The objective of the race is to cover 20 times of quite hard 5km loop on Haanja Ski tracks.
There are 3 competition classes – Classics (only classical skiing), Free (all skiing styles) and Women. The winners of the race will be the fastest to cover 100km. More information about the race is available in the rules and regulations.
If it is impossible to organize the competition on the 13th of March because of various problems – lack of snow, Covid19 etc, there will not be any virtual or other varieties – the race will be postphoned onto the next year!!!

The winner of the first stage of the 13th Tour de Rõuge is Taavi Kannimäe!
The fastest rider to finish the first stage of TdR 2019 was Taavi Kannimäe, who did it in 48min 40sec!

Today at Haanja, 12:40pm, temperature +1,5C°, track quite soft because of nighttime rain. As there is still about 40cm of natural snow and weather forecast is showing negative degrees for the next nights, we can declare, that HAANJA SKI100 WILL TAKE PLACE BY ORIGINAL SCHEDULE!
